Sunday, August 6: DEPART THE UNITED STATES
Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation.
Monday, August 7: DUBLIN ARRIVAL
After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Your CIE Tours driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next, stop to have breakfast with your group at Roly’s Bistro. Then, continue on to visit EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, which celebrates the dramatic story of the spread of Irish culture around the globe, and how Ireland has changed throughout the years. Motor a short distance to your hotel, check in and enjoy some free time before joining your fellow travelers for a welcome drink. After, spend the remainder of the day at leisure for individual pursuits and dining.

Tuesday, August 8: DUBLIN SIGHTSEEING
This morning, set off with a local guide who will show you around Dublin. The city has been molded through the centuries by economic, political and artistic influences that has shaped its architecture. Stop to tour Guinness Storehouse to see exhibits on how this world-famous stout was first created and why it is so popular today. Finish your visit in the roof-top bar, where you can sample a draft of Guinness. Head back to your nearby hotel and enjoy some time at leisure before this evening’s festivities. Tonight, join your group for tasteful cuisine prepared with the
finest ingredients at Fallon and Byrne Restaurant.

Wednesday, August 9: POWERSCOURT HOUSE & GARDENS
Leaving Dublin, travel to just outside of the charming village of Enniskerry to visit Powerscourt House, the former home of Lord Powerscourt. While here, experience the delightful terraced Italian gardens and abundant floral displays. Also, view the superb collection of trees, shrubs and flowers gathered from all around the world. Next, head to a local venue to have lunch with your group. After, continue your drive into Kilkenny, check into your hotel and settle into your room. Then, head back to your hotel in Kilkenny, where the balance of the day is at leisure for individual pursuits and dining.

Friday, August 11: JAMESON MIDLETON DISTILLERY
Departing Kilkenny, drive into Midleton to visit the Old Midleton Distillery. Discover how whiskey is made as you walk through the old buildings. See Shandon Church, a famous Cork landmark dating from 1722 and Crawford Art Gallery. Also, view Paul Street, known for its trendy restaurants and shops of all types. This morning, journey along the beautiful Cork Coast and into the Gap of Dunloe to visit Moriarty’s Gift Shop. Since the shop opened in 1964, Moriarty’s has become a landmark destination for shoppers. While here, have lunch with your group at Heather’s Restaurant, which is in the Moriarty’s Gift Shop. Then, continue your travel through Ireland’s rolling hills into Killarney, check into your hotel and settle into your room. Spend the rest of the day at
leisure to sightsee, shop and dine on your own.

Sunday, August 13: DINGLE PENINSULA DRIVE
After breakfast, discover the beauties of the Dingle Peninsula, once described by the National Geographic Traveler as “the most beautiful place on earth.” Drive along the south shore of the peninsula for plenty of vistas of heathery mountains, sandy stretches of beach, stunning green landscapes and rocky headlands. Pause at strategic locations to admire the views and take photos. Continue on to Slea Head at the western tip of the peninsula. This excursion will give you excellent views of mountains and coastline and looking over to the Iveragh Peninsula. Return to your hotel in Killarney in time to dine with your group in the hotel restaurant.

Monday, August 14: KILLARNEY TO GALWAY
Leaving Killarney, drive into Tarbert and take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary. Upon arrival, stop at Moran’s on the Wier Restaurant to enjoy an authentic Irish lunch with your group. After, transfer to your nearby hotel, check in and spend the remainder of the day free for independent activities and dining.

Tuesday, August 15: GALWAY SIGHTSEEING
Today, join a local guide for a gentle walking tour of Galway. See the medieval city walls, Lynch’s Castle and the narrow streets. Then, journey into Bunratty to visit the Bunratty Folk Park, which comprises a collection of farmhouses from different regions of Ireland. Also, see a 19th century village street with a pub, school, general store and many other buildings where traditional lifestyles and crafts are demonstrated. After your visit, continue your travel into Shannon and check into Dromoland Castle Hotel, one of Ireland’s finest castle hotels. It is one of the few castle hotels that can trace its ownership back through history to Gaelic Irish families of royal heritage. The castle offers all guests deluxe accommodation and the experience of living as “Landed Gentry.” Spend the balance of
